So can I get some opinions on this? During my interview she asked me if I was comfortable speaking in front of people because of some attractions that require that (like Jungle Cruise). I told her that my parents took me and my brother to Disney when we were really young, but that as we got a little older they started taking us to Universal, and that since then I always wanted to be the skipper on the Jaws ride... My question is will the fact that I brought up Universal destroy any chance I had? lol

Applied for Disneyland btw. But I'm from FL so I was referring to the Jaws ride in Orlando if that helps.

I dont really think it will hurt. That shows them that you know what the job basically entails and the kind of work it takes and how willing you are to do it. I think your fine. Dont worry about it

More troubles. Called Disney again today since I still wasn't receiving any e-mails. They said I put in the right e-mail and didn't understand why they weren't being sent, but agreed to change my e-mail.

So now she told me she would fwd along the e-mail for the phone interview to my e-mail. Well, I got two e-mails from her but neither of them contain any information. One is just a photo of college program workers. The other is her trying to recall the last e-mail (which she realized was just a photo.)

Sigh. This has been so frustrating. All I wanted was to apply early and here I am, a week later, behind as ever!

Here I thought *I* was the only one having troubles.

It's now been a week since my phone interview, and the time couldn't go much slower. Lol

Did anyone else receive an email after their phone interview that said "three to four weeks"? Most seem to have been told 2 or 3. I am hoping to be selected for Transportation, and thinking they allow a larger window of time before selecting applicants for that role, perhaps?

I think everyones email said 3-4 weeks. Its just that a lot of people asked their interviewer and they said 2-3, so thats what everyone is going by (probably just because its shorter)

Right on. My interviewer did say that, but my mind sort of wandered to other possible reasons for the discrepancy.

They're having a lot of issues with the new site and everything is getting backed up because of all the people applying, so I am trying not to expect the email in only two weeks so I don't get my hopes up... Everyone just be prepared!!

My actual email said I will hear back in the next two weeks. It has been one week today.

Well thats exciting if we are all going to hear within 2 weeks!. it will be 2 weeks for me on thursday, and i will be on vacation until wednesday. This could make or ruin my vacation!!! lol. at least i will be kept busy instead of staring at my laptop

Haha! Its killing everyone. I am taking it day by day and trying not to focus on it. I check my dashboard once a day and the rest of the time, I just do what I normally would. But Ive added a lot of disney videos and movies into my days. haha.

I applied last week and got denied instantly. I called them and they said I made a mistake. I forgot to check that I was curretly enrolled in college. They told me it would take a few days for them to correct, or bypass, this error. I called yesterday, as a week passed, and they said it's still in the works and they would contact me when it was resolved.

I am a photographer and am in school for graphic arts and photography. I have a lot of experience working in resorts and theme parks along with customer service.

If lets say it takes till the end of the month for the problem to resolve, will I be out of luck to get a job in PhotoPass?

I think applications end in November so I think you will be fine. It was just a mistake. They will fix it and then apply again. Be careful this time. lol. You will be fine though. The photo pass may fill quickly from what I heard, but you can still apply. Make sure you apply for a bunch of positions you like.

I really hope acceptances go out soon, I just quit/got fired from a job I've had for four years and I need some good news.

The first interviews were on the Tuesday after apps went up, is that right? Stands to reason then that the first wave of notifications would start tomorrow.

According to Tumblr, the first acceptances went out today. Although seemingly everyone on the DCP tag who received anything were either denied or waitlisted.
