Hello! Quick opinion on dates for a trip next year. With Easter on April 5th and spring breaks which week would be best to not be impacted by those events.

Week of March 22
Week of April 12
Week of April 19

Thanks!

March will likely have more guests on spring break. However, there are many events throughout the year that bring large numbers of guests into the parks. One of the most impactful is special ticket pricing.

Below is the event calendar for this year. It will likely be similar next year. What are you looking to do when you visit? Are you at all interested in Season of the Force and/or Food & Wine?
March 22 you will likely miss Season of the Force
There will likely be Star Wars Nites in April
April 19 will likely be the last day or two of Food & Wine - The first and last weekends of festivals can be more crowded.

Awesome. Thanks for the info.
Would like to try food and wine (love doing it at WDW). We haven’t been to DL since 10/2017 so will be excited to experience any new stuff! Not huge Star Wars fans but know enough to follow along.

Of those dates I would pick the week of April 19th. Mainly because it is after the weeks of Easter-Spring Breaks that some schools take. My rule of thumb is to avoid weeks before or after any major US holiday. But to be honest, Disneyland has done a great job at equalizing the crowds with Teir pricing and discounted tickets during traditionally slower periods.

That’s the week we are leaning towards.
Thanks!

Love this post. We are thinking that week too (but towards the end of the week). We've done Food and Wine but want lower crowds this trip. We'll run into a Star Wars night on a Thursday and entertainment will be weekends but we think it'll be great. Ideally, I would do DL on a Thursday and hop to DCA (due to Star Wars night). Then Friday at DCA, pool day Saturday and Sunday back at DL. We'll have two nights to catch fireworks and Paint The Night. I know many things are subject to change but a girl can dream.

Of those, I would probably choose late April. But honestly, I feel like the parks are almost always crowded these days. With EXTRA crowded times mixed in, like Halloweentime. So just plan for big crowds and then you'll be pleasantly surprised if it's not as bad.

Have been to parks during most holidays including Christmas.
