spring 2009

Are you eligible for rehire the next year if all goes well?? I'm hoping, if I get to do a CP this year, to maybe go back in '10. Is that possible?

Well, I've currently done 4 CPs...

FA 2009 would be my 5th.

k so I just sent in my online application and printed off everything they told me to "bring to the interview" but I'm calling to do a phone interview tomorro so how will they know what roles I check? I'm hoping I didn't do something wrong...

They get it off the computer, I believe.

You let them know during the phone interview which roles you are interested in and then after the interview you have to fax and mail your application and role checklist to them. don't worry, you're all good!:thumbsup2

Oooo I'd love that!:goodvibes

Ok so when you go to a presentation at a college you take your role checklist and printed application right??? And then what????

Oh definitely!! They are a lot of fun.

Yep. The recruiter takes them.

Did you contact them? The email says to contact them after four weeks of not hearing anything so I didn't know whether I really should do that or not. I don't want to bother them and they'll probably just say "it's on its way"

I'm at 4 weeks officially too. i called today, and she told me that the typical wait time right now is 5-6 weeks (not 3-4 like I thought). because I'm getting really anxious too.

Also I applied for DLR, not WDW, so idk if that makes any difference at all. I called last week too, and they told me that they sent out the first offers for DLR last friday. So i'm hoping to see it in the mail within the next week. I'm starting to go crazy over this. I think that those of us who've been waiting since the beginning have been patient enough. lol ;)

thanks for the help, ill call today........Anyone have the number by any chance? I looked briefly on the CP website but can't find it lol....I saw it last night should have written it down

I'm at the tail end of the fifth week right now. I applied for WDW, my recruiter said my decision has been mailed out, she said that on Tuesday, so assuming it went out Monday or Tuesday, it should either be here today or tomorrow. This of course is assuming it didn't get lost in the mail or anything.

just to add to what joanna said - you should look into becoming a campus rep after you leave the CP. That lets you keep your status with the company and it's much smoother getting back as a CP. Once you reach 3 years with the company your merch discount goes up to 35%, so it's worth it! Plus you get to keep all the other benefits while you're a rep. It's win-win and it's a lot of fun!

What exactly does a campus rep do? Do they just answer questions about the CP?

You still get to get into the park for free? That'd be awesome! I mentioned to my college advisor the other day that I would like to be a campus rep after I come home and she said that would be amazing so I'm really looking forward to it. It sounds fun.

How do you become a campus rep?
