I didn't get anything yesterday. So today is officially 4 weeks and one day for me. I think some people have been waiting over five weeks so i'll expect another week or so.

Yeah, I'm at five and 2 days right now. Here's to hoping for today!!

I had my interview about 4 weeks ago and I will be auditioning for character performer at the end of Oct. My interviewer said that I will be getting an invitation to the audition. I got an email that briefly mentioned the audition, but should I be getting something in the mail too????

Some do, but others don't. I wouldn't worry about it.

If the email came from your recruiter and it talked about that you needed to go to the audition, that may be it.

There really isn't much else to add to audition information that isn't already on their site.

Date, time, location is really all you need. The video is kinda fun to watch too. Especially when they are doing the routine and a few people are off.

Did you contact them? The email says to contact them after four weeks of not hearing anything so I didn't know whether I really should do that or not. I don't want to bother them and they'll probably just say "it's on its way"

So instead of focusing on the fact that I still don't have my letter I thought I would ask everyone a fun question. First, what role is everyone hoping for and where would you like to work? I am hoping for attractions. I would love to work at Hollywood Studios. I would be happy with any ride there but I would really love Star Tours.

I got FSFB (yay!) for Spring Advantage, and I'm not terribly familiar with the sit-down restaurants at Disney, so I'm not sure where I want to work. The Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge is a blast, but I think I'd like to work in one of the parks, so who knows.

Whispering Canyon would be a blast! I love that place just don't ask for ketchup!!!!

I got character attendant. I'm not actually sure about locations and stuff, my understanding is that you pretty much can work wherever there's characters... Joanna, is this correct? My mom is SO excited for me.. she just got her second Master's last year and we actually met a Character Attendant on the program during a trip last year who told her she could technically do the College Program. The only thing that stopped her from doing it is that my dad said he'd divorce her.. haha. Anyway, she keeps continuing to ask me questions about my role, and besides what's written on the folder and the typical job description, I don't know all THAT much about it. I should probably get her some more info.. haha.

That is great! I am happy to hear that your mom is so excited for you. My mom knows I am interested but I haven't told that I interviewed. I am just waiting till the response comes in. She is still going off the idea that I may talk about doing it but I won't actually interview and go through the process. It will be really nice if I get accepted because I can prove her wrong! But I am serious... It is great that your mom is so excited for you!!!!
