There are spieling roles at HM? Did I miss something?! That's my favorite ride, but I wouldn't consider anything there spieling...

I believe the only time a worker talks is to tell everyone to stand in the DEAD center on the room.

I was curious about that email about mailing our applications too so I just called up and we do not have to mail them, the fax should be just fine.

Hey guys! Have a question. My interview was Monday and I just faxed my application and my role checklist. I just received an email that there were errors on the checklist. It said that I didnt inital or cross out any roles, all I did was put a checkmark on the roles I was interested in. Disney said to refax and mail in my application and role sheet this time around. Has this ever happened to anybody here and does it count as a strike against me?

It shouldn't count against you... They just need to have everything in order in your file I wouldn't worry...

Ah i'm so dumb. Sorry about that guys XD I think I mixed the two up.

I would LOVE to do the GMR but I thought something like that would be reserved for CM or someone more experienced because it's so theatrical. I had no idea we could do things like JC or the Safari. I thought we wouldn't have the chance but that's awesome to hear!

Movies are definately my passion so GMR would be awesome!

CPs can definitely do those rides. My roomie was at Safari 2 years ago.

It is up to you. I wouldn't say spieling or non, I would just name the 2-3 rides you really want to work.

i cant believe my interview is in less than 24 hours! it looks like there are several of us on here that are having it tomorrow. DisneyTampa, then me, then meghaz, and seewhatimesdone. i hope colleen is as nice as some of the other interviewers have been! I'm a little nervous b/c i havent heard any of what the questions will be if u want to work recreation or costuming, which are my top two (attractions is my third tho). I have experience in both tho so hopefully all will be well

I figured it was just a typo...you're not stupid! Don't worry...

Anyhow, I did Safari! Hence all the Safari stuff on my profile/sig. I asked for spieling and got Safari...I was expecting GMR with my background in film studies, but they surprised me. It was a pretty incredible experience!

You don't have to ask for spieling or non-spieling...just don't ask for spieling at HM!

I only broke it down like that because if you want a spieling role primarily (moreso than a specific attraction) it's better to ask for that. If you prefer GMR, HM, or ToT, tell them so...but know those are all popular requests

As much as I would have loved GMR or HM, I asked for spieling only because that was more important to me. I had never been to DAK before, so it was truly an adventure once I got my assignment! My first day in DAK was as a training CM!

Good luck...just tell them which attractions you want most and you stand a good chance at one of them--if they put you in attractions. Still try to limit it to 3. You don't have to explain why you want each one, just list them.

CPs can and will be put anywhere they need CM's within most of the roles offered to them.

yeah I had my interview with colleen this morning. she seemed really nice and the interview only took about 25 minutes. Good Luck!
