How many pages long should my printed application and role checklist be? I only have 8 pages total, but I've heard some people say they had 10 or so, so I'm afraid I've done something wrong!

Also, (and I know I'm probably just freaking out), in my interview I only gave 3 options for roles (attractions, merchandise, and hospitality). Should I check off more options before I send in my role checklist? Would they even consider any roles I didn't mention in my interview? I wouldn't be completely opposed to doing recreation, vacation planner, or maybe even costuming if it ups my chances of getting in. WDYT?

I only had eight pages. I hope that's right XD I'm sure they'll email or call us if anything is missing. I also only gave three options for roles. I think the interview is the most crucial part so I doubt they'll go back over your role checklist intensively. The important things are the things she types into the computer. I'm sure you'll get one of your three choices!

Hate to say it but it looks like Space Mountain is going down in January for a year.

What?? Oh no! :(

Do you request the apartment complex when you get there? I've heard Chatham is quiter so I was thinking I would request that one.

Oh yeah, days off are weekly. I think it would be illegal to make you work every single day.

And yes, you request housing at check-in.

That's the first I've heard about that... :-(

I wish they would change it like the one at DLRP! At least the way it looks inside...the track could stay the same for all I care... it's so cool inside! You feel like you're flying through space objects(asteroids, nebulas, etc.) vs. a dome with a disco ball...

I know it's classic and all, but...

People are telling me to MAIL it in now too but the address is a P.O. Box so it will take like a week to get there! What should I do?!

Who is telling you this? Anyhow, it's just so they have everything on file. As long as it gets there in a timely manner, you're fine. Seriously. They already have all the info in the computer. Getting the documents just makes it official...

XD I just don't want to mess everything up! I already left off the last page with my signature on it while faxing and had to re-fax it with an explanation :rotfl: They're gonna think i'm crazy

I called the CP number and was told to both fax AND mail. Apparently there was an idea going around earlier that they were not going to have mailed in applications this year but decided against it. This decision did not reach the interview team which is why they are all telling us not to mail. The reason I was given for having to mail was that they need our physical signature on our forms, and not a photocopy like they have on the fax.

It sounds like you did great! While she was typing I tried to keep my mouth away from the phone so she didn't hear me breathing into it or anything :rotfl: I was so nervous for the next question I had to slow down to keep from blurting out answers.

hahahaha I had to do the same thing!!

Thanks for the info. I just rushed to the post office to have it mailed in XD

Really?! That is too funny! :lmao:

I was surprised when I heard fax-only...you can't only fax anything which requires a legal signature.

Mail them out then. You don't have to put a rush on it, just get it in the mail as soon as humanly possible.... It's just to have the signed app on file. After that, if they've made their decision, they can send you an answer. They aren't missing info if you've faxed it though, so regular mail should be fine. I used it just fine...and honestly, had an answer in about 4 days! Admittedly, that's extremely rare...

The mail isn't as slow as you might think... Good luck!

I had to re-fax it because I accidently left off the signature page. I have to send it in anyways so I guess it didn't really matter. Oh well XD I'm waiting for an official answer before I take these dang piercings out

You had a response in 4 days?! Wow, I want to be that lucky!! You must have applied the first day applications came out.

I did! I was one of the very first people accepted for that program! I knew without a doubt that it was what I wanted to do. I was graduating and I wanted to make a career out of Disney. I've had about a year and a half off in there, but I'm ecstatic to be going back!

I think it was 4 days...it was amazing and unbelievable. I got a call from a 407 number while on break at work and thought there was a problem with my app...not even close! :goodvibes

Thanks!
I heard from someone else that you had to do both as well. Better safe than sorry right.
