Spread some magic!

I am not a frequent poster, but I have witnessed this community do some amazing things to help out others in need. If you are able to share a little of this magic, I have heard of a good cause.

A previous co-worker sent me an an email about a 7 year old boy that is losing his battle with brain cancer. The family has decided to stop medical treatment. When asked what he wanted for Christmas, this child said "a million Christmas cards." Everyone who sends cards usually has a few left over. I took 3 styles of previous cards and had myself, my husband and our kids each send him a card. For the cost of 3 stamps, we were able to help a young boy fufill a wish. It would be truly wonderful if like-minded DISers could help him recieve more cards. If you would like to share in spreading this info, the name/address is:

Thank you for checking this- I typically ignore all forwarded email, but the request seemed so simple and the message was powerful. I didn't think to check the validity of the request because it was sent to me by a nurse that now works in Ohio and I thought she had personal ties with the family.

Sorry to be spreading rumor rather than fact!
