Spray on tan for my upcoming cruise???

I would shop around. We have a wonderful tanning place in town. They have a great staff and pointed me in the right direction for my cruise. I am pale and wanted some color for our 7 day cruise. I decided on a spray tan. I'm a plus size gal too and didn't want someone seeing me in nothing...eeek. so I decided on a spray booth. You go in a room by yourself, lock the door, undress, take off jewelry, put on the little hair cover and apply lotion to your ankles, wrists, knees toes and fingers. The booth I was in was automatic. You push the green button and away you go. You stand in the 4 positions in the big chart on the wall and it even blows you dry. I'm a nurse and wear white a lot and have even done this on my lunch break. The color is amazing!!! I got a level 2 which costs 20 dollars and it lasted the full 7 days of the cruise. The only thing I had to change is that you can't really scrub yourself in the shower. You have to do the bodywash in your hand or you will scrub away your tan. It fades evenly over time and I plan on doing it again for the next cruise. I actually took some photos on formal night and kept them. I even wore a sleeveless dress and that is something I would never do with my white arms..LOL. Whatever you decide...have fun on your cruise...

We have done the Mystic spray on Tan at the tanning salon, not a do it yourself. We did it at a level 2 ours had 3 levels 1 light, 2 med and 3 dark. We didn't have any problems with it comming off in the pools.

Just make sure if you do it you expoliate sp? and shave just before you go tan. And make sure that you cover you hands and feet, the get really dark (not in a good way) and so do not do anything after that will make you sweat just after the spay on. You want to stay really dry until it sets for about 5 hours I would say. We also made sure to use lots of lotion to keep our skin soft and not dry though out the curise, the tan lasted thoughout our 7 day cruise....

In our area it cost about 20 bucks.
