Well, I was lifting a stage today while cleaning out what's left of our haunted house. I dropped the heavy thing...right on top of my foot...

Well, it's swollen, purple, and quite painful.

And...my toes don't work! I keep telling them to do stuff, but they're just not listening to me!!

But, got Xrays, and it's not broke...but it sure hurts like all heck!!

I'm totally getting a second opinion tomorrow...if anyone has broken a bone, they know that it hurts really bad that first night as the bone starts to mend, and that's what my foot feels like now.

Either that or a REALLY bad sprain...but I want to cry! Getting hurt is no fun without your mom! And walking around the house sucks with one leg.

Ugh youve had a rough couple of weeks!
Hope you feel better soon!!

Hey Vamp I feel ya. I had a nasty sprain a few years ago that was extremely painful. Doc told me I'd have been better off if I had broken my ankle because they could fix it and it wouldn't hurt.

sorry to hear that vamp... just keep putting ice on it.... and get ready for some real pretty colors it's going to turn!! You're right in getting a second opinion... sometimes because it's so swollen, they can't see the break.

Good luck!

I hope your foot feels better soon. My DS sprained his foot last week and he's in a cast. I think a second opinion is a good idea.

Ugh! You poor thing I feel your pain. I fell taking my ex to the airport a few weeks back. Step right into an indent in the sidewalk at 3am and fell right to the ground. Managed to hobble around for a week and it was starting to heal...till I landed on it wrong and resprained it:rolleyes:.Then just for the heck of it step on an uneven piece of cement while walking downtown and did it again. That was two weeks ago, and knock wood...I have been very careful with it to give it a chance to heal. One more time and I will probably go to the doc.
My point?? Be careful now that its hurt...it may start to feel better but it will be weak and able to be reinjured easily.
