Spooles or Flying Fish?

Hi,

Thinking about December trip already! Will be @ BCV for 3 days & thinking about a nice dinner for the 1st night. It will be my mom & I. Have never been to either place. Please tell me your opinions! Thanks

I would recommend Flying Fish. The food and the service are excellent. In fact I took my mother there on a visit and she really enjoyed it.

Flying Fish..upscale..wonderful food and servers.

Spoodles..pretty good food, family atmosphere.

This sums it up perfectly. Whichever one of those sounds better for you and your mom is where you should go.

Thanks for replying!!!! I think I've settled on Spoodles!! I read some other reviews here on the dis! It seems like the place for us.

Spoodles is one of the restaurants that we have to eat at on every trip. We have had the rigatoni pasta, orecchiette pasta, moroccan spiced tuna & grilled salmon and they were all very good. We always start with one of there flatbreads which are very good.

On each trip we take a vote on the favorite dish we had. During our trip last week, the winner was the 4 cheese flat bread at Spoodle's.
