Hi ~
We're thinking about giving this restaurant another chance. My kids are older now and maybe they'll appreciate it a little more ?

Some of the things sound a little spicy according to allearsnet site ? I was looking at the Kabobs and the Red Snapper in particular in regards to spicy. Has anyone ever gotten the kabobs without the harissa ? Or the red snapper without the spicy tomato broth ? I wonder if they'd substitute something ? I'm not into real spicy/hot stuff.

Also, has anyone ordered the dessert sampler ? Are all the desserts on the menu sampled ? Or just a few ?

I got the steak kabobs a few weeks ago and the steak itself was very, very tender and tasty. However, I did not care for the dressing and accompaniments. I did not notice anything to be spicey, but I can handle a lot of spice and zest, so it takes a lot for me to take note. The lemon shrimp linguine meal was good -- I found it to be quite "lemony," so I picked apart my linguine and discovered small shavings of lemon mixed in. So I just removed the lemon shavings and the meal was wonderful.

Thanks TJA I saw there was something called "harissa" sauce on the kabobs. I was not familiar with that, so I googled it. It says it's a spicy/hot sauce ?

I thought, if I ordered that, I'd definitely ask for no harissa sauce---but I wondered what they would substitute for it ?
I do have slight reservations about this.

Do u happen to know what is on the sampler platter for the dessert ? Thanks again !
