One night we are doing Downtown Disney. Last visit we didn't think much of the Fulton Crab House, so we are going to stop at Boardwalk to do dinner there. We did Spoodles last time and liked it. I am hearing good things about Flying Fish as well. There are 5 of us. Me, wife, 6 year old girl, 8 year old son and 72 year old Mother in law (she's in better shape than me). Which place would you suggest?

I would pick Flying Fish everytime over spoodles. Flying Fish can be loud but the food and price is on a whole different level.

The Flying Fish is very good and very expensive. The red snapper is awesome. But our dd's did not like the food on the childrens menu at all. They had the mickey pasta and a salad (3 pieces of lettuce and couple croutons). My oldest dd still talks about how bad it was.

I would pick the FF over Spoodles any day!! I think the price difference is worth it, the food is much better, a bit more creative and cosistant. The service is always top notch at FF. Both are noisy.
My kids love the kids menu at FF because they have more then the typical Mac & cheese. They love looking at the cool decor.

We have eaten at Spoodle's at least once on every trip since they opened. We would not think of missing it. I would guess we have eaten there 15 times or so, not counting perhaps 8 for breakfast. We haven't eaten at Flying Fish, but it is on the plan for our Dec. trip.

Our favorite is to start with the roasted garlic and 4 cheese flatbread. I swear it is so good, you almost swoon as you bite into it! I usually have the filet or one of the pastas next. DD has the chicken with couscous or pork chops alot. Sometimes we break out and order something different! But everything is good!

They have a dessert tower that is wonderful! It has the cheesecake, chocolate velvet cake, biscotti and something else, I think. Sometimes, we spilt an entree just to have room for this.

Count me as Spoodle's #1 fan!

We have eaten at both Flying Fish and Spoodles. Both are wonderful, but Spoodles has become an every trip tradition. Our oldest likes Spoodles kids menu better (awesome desserts for kids)! While the food at FF is great, Spoodles menu appeals to us more, it is a more relaxed atmosphere (although FF was great with kids), and slightly less expensive.

You can't go wrong with either choice!

Have a great trip!
