Spontaneous Trip to see FINAL TOD Parade!

Well, I've never been quite so spontaneous in my entire life but when I found out that Tapestry of Dreams was ending this coming weekend, February 28th, I grabbed my tax refund check and went and bought a ticket to Orlando!

Thankfully, I have a dear friend who has just relocated to Orlando, and she offered to pick me up, and chauffer me around the whole weekend! Also, which makes it better, she has never experienced the 'World' and was looking for a tour guide...

I leave Friday at 9pm out of Atlanta... stay tuned for the trip report of the curtain falling on Tapestry of Dreams... If anyone else will be there, I'd love to meet up with them!

I am so excited, I'm having trouble concentrating on work-- and being an in-court attorney, it can be trouble to be so distracted!! I find myself softly humming "When you Wish Upon a Star" and whistling the Splash Mountain medley... my boss thinks I'm nuts!

Terribly though, it looks like rain this weekend for Orlando, and I'm concerned about ToD being cancelled due to weather... let's all keep our fingers crossed!

I'll be there for the final run on Saturday too. SO SAD! I can only catch the earlier parade though, but I think the sentiment will still be there.
