I've done split stays several times. While I like just staying put the move has made it feel like 2 different vacations.
I just pack up my stuff and give it to bell services to move. I identify any perishables I have and they refrigerate it and my laptop they lock up and move to the other resort where it is again locked up. Even if I have a car I let them move it for me that way I can go to a park and don't have to worry about my stuff in the car. Also, the times I've done a split stay the new resort seems to prioritize my reservation so my room has always (please don't let me jinx myself here by saying this
) been ready early for me to get into.
It's been a great way to try out new resorts
and if I don't like it (Never been a problem) I don't have to stay there too long.
Good luck with ROFR and
home. Congratulations.
