Splitting the party and ADRs

So we're splitting up for a meal. I am taking the 5 year old to CRT for a mommy-daughter lunch and my husband is taking our 18 year old son to the Winnie the Pooh buffet at Crystal Palace.

I got the CRT ADR but now it doesn't want to let me book a second ADR at the same time for the rest of the group. Do I need to call in for that or is there an online trick I'm missing?

We had this problem last year and I was able to call and they allowed us to have two reservations.

This year I am looking for an ADR for 8 and I was only able to find one for 4. I am still looking but I had to make another MDE so that if I find another 4 at nearly the same time, I can grab it.

I would love to know if there is another solution.

It just seems like since the system has 4 names in my account and asks which 2 of us are going to CRT it should be relatively easy to code the ability to book for the other 2.

Thank you so much for posting this! I had BOG pre-opening ressies for our party of five, but we had to move our trip. I've been trying to get them for our current week and not having luck. I was able to book a party of two and now I am arranging a swap for another three. If you hadn't posted this I would have been so upset when I went to do the swap. That really doesn't make sense that you can't split your party. I just made a new MDE account so I can pick up the other three. You just have to give your name to get in, right? Does it have to be linked to a ticket/magic band?
