Splitting reservations

Hello. I was thrilled when I saw that Disney Visa card members would get free dining in september. However the Disney company was very smart to end the free dining deal just before the food and wine fest begins. Does anyone know if there is a way that I can take advantage of the free dining but still have a day or two in Epcot for the food and wine feast. Would I have to do separate reservations, would I have to switch hotels?

Any guidance on how to make the best of this deal would be greatly appreciated.

As long as you check in on September 25 or before, you get free dining for your entire stay up to 14 nights.

The Food & Wine Festival starts on September 27.

So just check in on or before the 25th, and stay long enough that you can do the festival.

Splitting stays usually works if your trip is at the beginning of the free dining period but it doesn't work so well for the end. If you're checking in during the promotion period and staying long enough there's no need anyway.
