Split stays with OL

Has anyone with an Owner's Locker changed resorts during their stay? Did Disney move the locker to your next resort along with your luggage? We aren't planning on having a car, but we have friends in the area that we could try to get to help us change resorts if the OL is an issue. Also, does this confuse the guys at OL if we ask them to drop it off at one resort and pick it up at another?

We do it almost every trip. Bell services moves our luggage for us including our locker. They guys at OL are great and the website lets you choose both a drop off and pick up location.

Last trip they moved our luggage but forgot our owners locker, by the time we realized it was too late to move it that night so we had to wait till the next day. Next time we will transfer our self with a rental car.

I always transfer my own luggage to the next resort but I also always rent a car. I was thinking about trying Disney's service this time though when we go next week because it does take a lot of my time and we do it before we head to a park in the morning.

We were a nightmare for Bell Services in January, but they did a great job. We had six suitcases, six carry ons, an OL, part of a case of wine, and grocery bags to total 28 packages all together, some needing refrigeration and freezer storage.

On the morning of our checkout day, they brought us bags for all of our groceries that were sturdier than regular grocery sacks. They kept everything cold or frozen and brought it all to our room when we got to the new resort. Everything made it just fine!

We did a split stay in Dec but transferred our own luggage and OL. No problem with different drop off and pick up for OL. They can do anything!

When I switch resorts, I always update the cardboard label on the OL with the new resort name, just in case.

Thanks all for the information. But I just had a "divine revelation"... since this is my first visit with the Owner's Locker, I'll only tell them about the second resort! No need to lug an empty locker around the world!! They can just bring us the [new] locker on the last portion of our stay. I will keep this all in mind thought, so I'll know it's possible if we do split stays again.

I just got my first locker on my stay in January. I used the move as a test run to see how much stuff I was going to be able to fit into it and whether or not I should make arrangements to lug it back on the plane or ship it home. I'll tell you that sucker is JAM Packed!
