Split stays and online check in ?

Question for those of you that have done split stays / online check in....
Right now, it has the message for my first reservation to check in on May 15 (arrival May 25) online... nothing about the second reservation (which is 7 days later than the first). So, will it prompt me to do online check in for the second one after I've completed the online check in for the first on May 15? (I imagine the second check in will be May 21/22 for June 1)

By doing online check-in for the first one, it won't prompt you to do it for the second right away. You will get another email specifically for the 2nd leg of the trip, but it will have nothing to do with when, or whether, you did onlne check-in for the first leg. Split stays are treated as 2 completely separate reservations, and are not linked in the system as far as check-in. So if you got an email today prmopting online check-in for the 1st leg, and you're 2nd leg starts 7 days later, you should get the same email you got today (but for the 2nd leg) in 7 days.

That was rambling! Do you know what I'm trying to say? Just because you do online check-in for one part of the trip has no effect on what they email you regarding the 2nd half. No worries though, you will get the same email for the 2nd part!

We did 2 splits stays in March & everything worked out very seamlessly.

So, I'll get an email when I'm 10 days out to remind me? I can't remember...LOL. I was just looking at the little thing in my account up top that says "in 12 days....", and I started wondering if it would prompt me for it....I know it didn't when I was paying on both (only showed the first amount due up at the top of the screen...).
