Staying 6 nights...is it better to do 2 nights at one resort and then 4 at another? Or 3 and 3? I want to end with a 2 bedroom at vgf with my parents( pending limited availability obviously)But going to stay in the beginning (2 or 3 nights)with just my husband and 2 kids somewhere else.Any suggestions?

We tried a split stay once with our (at the time) 1 and 4 yr old. We didn't really enjoy moving in the middle of the trip and it had nothing to do with the kids. Just be aware that if either of them still takes naps there is a possibility that you may not have a room come nap time. I don't know if you are asking for suggestions or not about where to stay, but we have found AKL and BWV to be good with the kids. AKL for the animals and BWV (or BCV) for the ease of getting to two of the parks. Good luck.

We have split a couple of stays with our girls who are currently 2 and 5. The only real drawback we find is not having a guaranteed room at naptime on the day you switch. On one trip and on our upcoming one, we have split between an Epcot area resort and an MK area resort and planned our days at each park accordingly. It's nice to avoid buses (and folding strollers) as much as possible. The other resort our girls really love is AKL. It's really wonderful for little kids.

I would try the 3 x 3 night stay. We did a split stay with our 3 and 2 year old last June and it seemed to work out really well. We stayed at VWL for 6 nights and then Animal Kingdom Kidani Village for 3 nights. Our kids worked through the naps as they slept in their car seats between the park and the second resort.

We are doing just that in March, first 3 days at BC, then last 3 at AKL. Wife wasn't too sure about it, but I did it last year with just the one daughter and it was fine. I like the change and experience of 2 different resorts and what they have to offer.
