Split stay...will WDW move our luggage from resort to FW?

We are staying one night at a WDW we have not selected yet. The next morning we will move to Fort Wilderness where we will be camping. Will Disney move our luggage for us? Last time when we switched from Pop to VWL they moved it for us.

If they move it, how long will they hold it for us? For example, if we decide to go to Downtown Disney for a few hours after checking out of resort #1, our luggage will go to FW and wait for us there, yes?

Since FW is a Disney resort just like all the others they will handle your move just as they did before. I don't think they will take your luggage to your site until you are there, but if you are staying in a cabin I would expect it to be handled just like any other Disney resort.

Excellent! I just wanted to make sure they still provide this service. We are tenting, so I guess they'd just hold our stuff for us.
