Hi, my husband has no opinion on the matters of park touring. The order, what day - he doesn't care. I need you guys to help me because the kids don't know yet and I know you all will have an opinion!

We arrive late afternoon/early evening so we won't plan on going to the parks, we'll enjoy the Poly and maybe watch Wishes while eating a Dole Whip.
Our next day we'll RD MK. That much I am positive on.

Here is where I need your help.
Do we
A. MK - AK - MK
OR
B MK - MK - AK

Day 3 is the day we switch to BWV. I'm thinking with Plan B we could check out of the Poly, give our bags to Bell Services. I'd take our carryon's via cab to BWV and check in. Drop the carryons with Bell Services there and then we'd all head over to AK for lunch and a hopefully an evening with Rivers of Light.

Days 4 - 7 we'll be at Epcot or DHS or rest

If Plan A AK has Morning Magic hours so we would need to be up and at 'em by 7:15 which means no night time entertainment (MSEP, Wishes) the night before. I already made ADR's for Plan A but I'm liking it less and less and am thinking I'd rather ditch the ADR's and go with Plan B.
Thoughts?

With online check-in, you don't need to physically check-in at BWV. You don't appear to need your carry-ons at BWV because you'll be staying late at AK. Just send everything over with Bell Services and head to whichever park you decide for day #3.

Is still go with Plan B. It's better to go into MK early without the hassle of dropping off luggage.

Hmm, I'd actually go with plan B. But if it is an MK EMH morning you might need a break. By your travel dates it looks like AK's evening show should be open and so you would want to try that out. Unless you are total commando the next morning you could sleep in a little... If you needed to to an inside the park Wishes night you could probably hop to MK for a night.

Unless it's a really crowded time of year, I decide which park to go to on my way to the bus stop each morning.

As a FYI with online check-in and notification set up, you may still may need to go to the front desk. Two of our last 3 resort stays, we received the "check at front desk for room assignment" text including last week at BWV. There are a few reasons that can happen.

Personally, we always try to get to get to the front desk as soon as we can when we change resorts during a trip. The earlier you get there the better chances you have at doing things such as request a room location, floor, etc.

When you leave the Poly, make sure you go to the front desk to have them close out your stay. There are known issues in the system with 2 reservations being open at the same time. The automatic check-out/email will not close your stay. If you don't do this and go straight to BWV, you could experience issues trying to check-in.

You do A because you don't want to do the same park two days in a row.

I concur, it is a better experience to have another park in between 2 mk days. It's also easier to change that third day if you get done with ak or wake up for day 3 and decide you'd rather head somewhere else.

Great tips thank you!

Yes - that was why A was my first choice!

Crowd calendars or not, the overriding thing for me is after spending an entire day in MK, I want to see something new the next day. Plus on day three when you switch to BWV checking in will take a some time. Why cut into your only AK day? Go check in and jump on the bus right back to MK. I like the fact that you saved your Epcot/HS days for when you're at BWV. I love being able to walk or take the boat to the parks! We've been staying at BC the last few years and we do the same thing.
