Split stay US/WDW

When we go, we always split our stay between a Universal hotel and a WDW hotel. This time will be no different. However, this is the first time we've had more than two people, so I was hoping for advice.

In the past, we've had a town car do the following
MCO-US
US-WDW
WDW-MCO

Now that there are 5 of us, and with the new Magical Express service, I'm wondering the best way for the 5 of us to get from MCO to US (coming in on an 8pm flight on a friday night) and then to POFQ the next ngiht (Sat around 8, after a day at IOA).

I was thinking that renting a car, and then returning at the Dolphin may be a good way, but a little more stressful than having a van pick us up. Any advice for us?

if you are comfortable w/the town car (and the price) then i would say go the way you always do, maybe exchanging just the last leg (wdw to mco) for magical express...

we are also doing a split stay between wdw and universal and our plan is to rent a car at mco, go to universal, keep it for our two days (to maybe do some offsite stuff), visit family in nearby deland, go to the Holy Land Experience, and then return our car on our disney check-in day... using ME for our return to mco...
