Split stay rentalfor DVC?

If I wanted to stay 3 nights in a 1 BR at VWL, then 2 nights in a 1 BR at BCV, could I rent all these points from one person-or would I have to deal with two owners?

You could rent them from one owner - with the 7/11 month windows though it may be in your interests to rent from 2 different owners

How far out from your trip were you intending to rent the points?

Oh... I am just now starting to think about October 2006.
I might not be able to commit until 7 months out. Would that be a problem?
I guess that would be next April?

Owners can make reservations up to 11 months out at their home resort and starting 7 months out at non-home resorts

For example (I do not rent my points btw, I am just helping out - I have no economic interest involved here), I own at BCV, SSR, VB

I can book BCV up to 11 months out with my BCV points
I can book SSR up to 11 months out with my SSR points
I can book VB up to 11 months out with my VB points

I can book any DVC up to 7 months out with any of my points (mix n match)

The above would lead to if you know exactly where you want to stay and it is more than 7 months prior, you would have to seek out owners of contracts at the resorts you want to stay at (sounds complicated but it is quite easy) - it may be that you find one person that owns at the resorts you want and has points available for rent at those resorts
