Split Stay/Refillable Mug question

My girls and I are planning to do a split stay next year. Our first resort is POFQ, our second resort is a secret...

As of now, all of our food will be OOP, I do not plan to get the dining plan at all.

I would like to purchase refillable mugs upon our check in at the first resort. Do I need to purchase the mugs again when we check in to the second resort, or are the first mugs good for our entire vacation at both resorts?

I tried to do a search on this subject and I was unable to find any info about it at all.

The mugs are not resort-specific so I would just continue using them.

Ok, I'm doing a split stay at two different resorts. Do I have to buy mugs for each resort?

That sorta used to be the case when each resort had it's own style mug. Altho many people went ahead and used em at both resorts anyway.

Today, the mugs are pretty much all the same. So there's hardly any point. And honestly, if you ask at any Disney resort and explain the split trip, they'll tell you .. they put more weight on the "for the duration of your trip" portion than they do "at the resort where you bought it."

That is if they put any weight on it at all.

Thank you very much for finding that info for me. I felt like I looked everywhere.

I guess I will buy my mugs at the first resort, and just double check when I swtich resorts to make sure. \
