Split Stay Question

Hi folks! I will be renting someones points for a trip in August at BLT. This will be my first time doing this as my wife and I are actively looking into becoming DVC members. We thought this would be the best way to get the feel of being a DVC member. Since I made this reservation, a friend of mine told me he has a few points to use before they expire in September on him. After looking at flights, we found that we would be better off coming a day earlier then originally planned. So now we are contemplating staying at OKW the first night, then going to BLT for the remainder of our stay. The question is, can this be done and will we be able to have our luggage moved to BLT? Or will we have to make alternate plans? I've been looking around, but cant seem to find the answer to my question. Thanks in advance for any help!

Yes you can absolutely book a split stay. Bell services can transfer your luggage between resorts. No different than booking split stays with cash rooms.

You would have two separate reservations, one for OKW and one for BLT. When you check out of OKW (and you will want to physically check out of OKW), you bring your luggage to Bell Services and they will transport it to BLT. But don't plan on it arriving earlier than 5 or 6 pm.
