We are doing a split stay--3 nights at BLT, 4 at AKV. We are staying DVC. I just had the light bulb moment yesterday that I will need two different DDP segments. (haven't booked them yet, waiting until closer to trip)
At first I was bummed because I had booked 6 meals in 7 nights to make room for a 2TS meal. But, the skipped meal was in the BLT part of the stay and the 2TS was in the AKV portion. So I figured it wouldn't work.
Here's what I mean:
BLT nights table service:
4/3--Ohana
4/4--nothing booked
4/5--Chefs de France
switch hotels 4/6
4/6--Boma
4/7--Mama Melrose
4/8--Narcoosee's (2 credits)
4/9--Raglan Road
But I had another thought today....since the BLT credits expire at midnight on check-out day (4/6), I could still use one TS that night, right? Which would pay for Boma. Then I'd have 4 TS credits for the next 3 nights, which would allow for the 2TS meal.
Will this work, even though by the time we have eaten at Boma we will have already checked into AKV? We may even use a CS credit from our second segment that day for lunch. Would we have to keep our BLT cards that night to pay for Boma?
I hope this is clear. My first thought was just to pay for the BLT segment OOP and cut Raglan Road, but if I can work it out the original way I'd rather do that, in spite of the fact we will get 8 mugs instead of 4!!!!
