Split stay POFQ & POLY or whole stay at Dolphin?

My 28 yo DD and I are doing Disney solo for 4 days. We want to check out a resort that would be best for my 2 yo granddaughter. She would be 3 when we go. It is a toss up between POFQ because of the cost and POLY because it is close to the Magic Kingdom. But.... there is more to do for the adults in the evening at the Dolphin. Would it be too much to switch between POFQ & Poly for just a 4 day stay. We are going to enjoy the resorts more than the parks this time. Please give some opinions! Thanks.

I would try the resort switch on your solo trip so that you can check out 2 resorts before going with the little one. Switching resorts is not a really big deal especially with only 2 adults. This way you get to try a moderate and a deluxe which will give you a great idea which would be the best in future. We have stayed at POR many times (I would love to try FQ - it's so beautiful) and the Poly once and they're both great. We are debating whether to resort hop in August so I'll probably be asking this same question in a few weeks. Good luck choosing and have a great time whatever you decide!!

I would split between the Poly and POFQ. With two adults, I don't think it would be too much for a 4 day stay. Poly and POFQ are two of our favorite resorts. Poly of course is so convenient for MK, but POFQ is a beautiful resort, very compact and a great value. Good luck with your decision

I was hoping that would be your answers! The Dolphin seems nice but my heart was just not there, even if there was a nurses discount . My DD and I have the tough, scouting job of the best place for our family to stay. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it.
