split stay-meal plan

i Was making adjustments to my oct stay. My origianl plan was to stay at one resort the whole time 10/4-10/12
now i decided to go to the contemporary fro 4 days and then switch. (its booked for the holiday w/e)
my TA told me I would lose the fre meal plan when I switch resorts bc I will check in to the nw hotel after the 4th.
is anybody doing the same?

Are you getting the free meal plan? Since you are checking in on the 4th, you might be eligible....today's the last day to reserve, so have your TA check. If so, don't split your stay.

If you split your stay and you want the meal plan, you'll have to do two separate packages for the resorts to get the meal plan for your whole trip. The best thing would be to see if you can still do the Free meal plan package for your first half of your stay, get tickets for all but one day that you need on that package. The second half of your stay buy a package with the meal plan and a one day ticket.

if you do a split stay, the only way you could get the free meal plan would be to buy two packages... and both check-ins would have to be on or before october 4th... so it looks like you will have to choose between free meals or two resorts...

we had the same dilemma... what we opted to do was stay at the first resort 8 nights with free meals and the second resort only 2 nights without free meals (room only actually since we will use our tickets purchased in our package from the first part of our stay)... the only downside to this is if you don't use all your meal credits, you cannot carry them over to your second stay as they expire at midnight on the day of check out...

Same with us. We were planning PORS then AKL but since we arrive on Oct 3rd and get the FREE meal plan for the whole trip thru Oct 11th we decided to stay in one hotel only.
