Split Stay - Magic Morning Question.

We are planning a split stay between the Grand Californian and the Best Western Park Place Inn with a 3 day 1 park per day ticket. First two days will be at the Grand so we will have access to Early Entry as a hotel guest. Will that delete "Magic Morning" off of the ticket the morning we enter the park from the Best Western? Truly that last day is always hard to get up for and we probably won't make it but just wanted to know in case.

Thanks!!

When you are staying at the Grand, you use your room key to get Early Entry; this will not use the Magic Morning on your ticket. When you stay at Best Western, you can use your one Magic Morning that comes with your ticket on Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday. Only one Magic Morning is offered with the 3 day tickets.

I thought - and I'm known to be wrong - that Magic Morning was offered to 3 day park hopper tickets and not the one day, one park tickets.

ETA: Okay, I went to the Disneyland site and a 3 day park ticket (one day, one park) is eligible for Magic Morning. So, Kriss is right - you use your room key to have early entry and use your park tickets for entry on Magic Morning.

Hello,

I was going to ask this exact same question!

It's our intention to get a 2-night Disney hotel room/ticket package with 5-day ticket, then another 5 nights at a hotel near the convention center through AAA. The first 4 days of our trip will be at Disneyland, then the convention center for the last 3.

I know I'll be able to do the Extra Magic Hour during our Disney hotel stay. It's my understanding that I'll still be able to use my Disneyland-only Magic Morning entrance once we've switched hotels. Is that correct? I know in the past we've had to use our actual park ticket and room key on Extra Magic Hour mornings.

Also, on the morning we check out of the Disney hotel, do you know if we can still go the Extra Magic Hour offered that day?

Thank you for helping,
Robert

Are you checking out before EE? If not, then yes, you can use your room key to gain access as you will still be a hotel guest.
It's possible you'd also be able to use them for EE if you checked out earlier as I think they just look at the key dates and don't scan them or anything.

We did the reverse- stayed 2 nights at HoJo's then 2 at GCH. We were able to "check in" at 7am at GCH even though we hadn't checked out of HoJo's yet so we could get room keys and go to 8am EE - we then toured the parks, went back to HoJo's to check out by noon, taxi-ed to GCH to store our bags and got our room at GCH around 3pm.
