This time around I plan on doing the split stay for the first time. I will be staying for 2 weeks with 1 week at each resort and I was wondering if Disney will transfer your bags for you or do you have to do that yourself. Thank you in advance.

Yes, they will move your luggage for you between resorts. Have a nice trip!

We did a split stay - each resort has different rules it seems, Pop I just called ahead of time, and it was no problem, at Boardwalk they wanted me to be in the room - they were so rude giving me my luggage from pop ( I waited over 5 hours getting the round around - I refused to tip - which means my luggage from BWV to WL was also messed up - WL was wonderful about tracking it down!!)

The resorts will move your luggage. I've done it a couple of times with no problems. Just call bell services (or take it there), tell them where you are moving and they will transfer it. Call bell services when you are ready for your luggage. Don't expect it to be a quick transfer. Just go do the things you would normally do throughout the day. When you arrive in the late afternoon, your luggage will be waiting at bell services.

We've done a split stay once and it was very easy and smooth! We just told bell services and we left for the park that morning. When we arrived at our different resort, we checked in and went up to our room and our luggage was already there and ready! EASY as could be! You should have no problems

We'll be renting a crib and toddler bed from an off-site place. Will bell services also move this for us, from BWV to BCV?

I don't know for sure, but I bet they will. If Bell Services will haul it to your room from the lobby, they will probably take it to another hotel. Just be sure to tip them well. I always say it doesn't hurt to ask.
