I have a PIN code offer I would like to use. Problem is the first 2 days of our trip the resort is unavailable. I'm not sure if it's booked or if there are no rooms using the code. The first 2 days would be a travel day arriving late(9P) which is a Friday and the next day, we would use as a resort day.

My plan is to book a room only offer using PIN code on a room at a resort that has availability. On Sunday, we would check out of our 2 day resort, have bell services transfer luggage to new resort and hit MK as our first park day.

I haven't decided if I'm getting a DDP or not. Assuming I do, will we be able to buy 6 day passes with a DDP, would it be attached to resort reservation #2? Would we be able to access and use our tickets and food credits before we actually check in. I don't now how a split stay works as far as checking in before it's time? Can we check-in online and just wait for a text while we hang out at the park

Or, would I have to book 2 room only reservations, and purchase park tickets separately to go to MK on Sunday? Assuming we have to do that, am I able to still purchase a DDP and use ME?

I really don't mind paying OOP for food, but was thinking the ease of the DDP might just make things easier.

You can use the tickets attached to your package up to 10 days early. To do that you would have to stop by a Guest Services location which are located outside every park and at Disney Springs. But you can not use any dining credits before your package starts.

What we do is after checking out of resort #1 we head to a park for the day. Then sometime around 4 or 5 we head to resort #2 and check in. Then we call Bell Services from our room and have them bring up our luggage. That way we don't lose any park time.

I would pick up your tickets from the package for that Sunday. Then sometime during your trip add an extra day to your tickets. That's the cheapest option.

The dining plan credits can be used from the day you check in to midnight of the day you check out.

Thank you both! DH convinced me to book a family suite at All Star Music and I was able to use my pin code there after changing our dates a tiny bit! Off to learn all there is to know
