split stay during crowded period....deluxe options

I a looking into a March trip over spring break. We would fly in LATE on Wed. before EAster--arriving at POR after midnight (It's cheaper than the airport hotel). We would do 4 nights total at POR. Then on Easter we would switch to a deluxe resort for 3 nights, leaving the Wed. after Easter.
Since it's such a crowded period, I am thinking of booking the contemporary--garden wing if available. This way we are close to MK and all transportation options for the other resorts.
I was just wondering if anyone has any feedback on this plan, or other options I should consider.

I think that your plans sounds perfect. You wouldn't want to go deluxe the first night and you will spend enough time in each resort so you don't feel like you are bouncing around too much. I have never stayed at POR, but I just stayed at the CR and loved the transportation options. The walk back from MK is great! I'll be there in during the same time too! Oh the crowds!
