Split Stay: DTD package delivery?

We're staying at POR on a Fri and then onto BWV on Sat. We are planning on going to DTD for shopping on Fri eve. We usually have our kids' purchases delivered to our resort and the rest shipped home. But, not sure if we are able to send to BWV if we aren't checking in until Sat.... I know we can check them with bell services for the luggage xfer. But, I'm hoping we don't have to do that.

Anyone have any info?

On our trip last month (not DVC) we were at the Beach Club through Friday night and spent Saturday night at the AKL. I asked about having purchases made on Friday delivered to AKL - cast members general response was I was welcome to try it, but they wouldn't.

We were however, leaving on Sunday, so that might have made a difference.

Since you're staying at POR, why not take your packages with you, since you're so close (boat or bus), instead of taking a chance that they'll be lost? This way, you can be sure you'll have them when you transfer your luggage.
We're planning a split-stay, too, starting off at SSR for a few days and then BWV for the rest. We plan on doing our DTD shopping while we're at SSR specifically for that reason, since we'll be so close.

We have most of our purcchases shipped directly home. Things I want to take myself I have sent to the resort but if you don't have your room number yet it might be impossible to send to the new resort.
