Split Stay/Dining plan credit question

Hi!

So I am doing my first ever split stay. We have the plus dining (1 TS meal/day). I am spending 3 nights at AKL [July 13-16] and two nights at the CR [16-18]. I have the same dining plan on both reservations. My question is, I want to do a 2 credit meal on the day I transfer resorts [16th]. Do I need to pay OOP for a meal during the first half of my stay or the second to have the extra credit available?

I don't know why this is confusing me so much. I don't want to pay OOP at narcoosees, I'd rather use 2 TS credits and pay OOP for something else.

It would be simplest to pay OOP for Chefs. Otherwise you'd need to combine a credit from each stay to pay for Narcoosees. I think this can be done if you really want to, but might be a hassle, i.e. pay OOP and then have concierge fix charges/credit you if restaurant has trouble.

You can't combine a credit from each stay to pay for Narcoossees - both credits must come from the same resort account. If you have 2 credits left in the old account, you can use them to pay for one person's meal and take the others' meals from the second account.

How many people are on your reservation? If you are party of two, one person could use two credits from the previous stay, while the other person redeems credits from the next stay.

Great point! I didn't even think of paying for 1 person OOP.
With that in mind, it will probably make the most sense to pay OOP for one of you at Narcoosee's assuming you're a party of two and then all your 1 TS are covered with no "mixing" credits.

We are a party of two. Honestly, the paying 1 OOP deal seems a little confusing, I think I will just stick to paying Chefs OOP. We love Narcossees, and I know we can do damage there lol. With 1 person's entree and dessert I am close-ish to what I'd pay for both of us at chefs anyway ($86 + drink + tax each). We like the surf & turf + creme brulee.
