Split stay DDP question

We are going to stay at 2 different Disney resorts. We will not have DDP for the first half, but will for the second. Is there anyway on the morning we move to send our stuff to the 2nd resort and activate the DDP so we can go to the parks and use dining credits? Or must we physically check in at the 2nd resort? TIA!

You can have your luggage sent over, but you must check in and get your key card to use the DDP.
