Vero Beach and SSR in October. We are very excited. Now it is time to try to find cheap flights, car rental, etc.

We have never done DDP? Is it worth it. Can I pay for it now so it is paid for before I check in?

Thanks

DDP is well worth it IMHO. I like not worry about how much money we are spending on food when on vacation. We've used it twice now and are using it again in July.

And no you have to pay for it at check-in.

Happy planning!:yay:

Thanks for the quick response.

If I plan on flying out at about 8:00 on the day I check out, do I have to pay for that day also. Do I just double up on one of my meals during the week?

I was told you have til the end of the evening on check out day. Is this right??? So if you are staying at SSR for 5 nights..checking in on Monday.....you have til Sat. evening to get them all in.

We are splitting our stay in Sep. 4 nights at Wilderness and 4 nights at either BWV or Port Orleans. If we get the Dining Plan for the 4 nights at Wilderness and don't use all the meals, can we still use the remaining meals whilst we are staying at BWV or Port Orleans?

First trip to Disneyworld-any help appreciated!!

No you can't I'm afraid, they expire the day you checkout.

Not sure if I understand the ?. You pay for the number of nights you will be staying in Disney. So if you are there for 4 nights you pay for 4 nights on the DDP. The Dining Credits expire at Midnight the day you check out.

I hope that helps. You can also look on the restaurant thread. There's a DDP thread there.

Oops! I just posted a thread asking this same question! :) Thanks!

They expire at midnight, so the requester could indeed use them the day they check into the other resort. That day, they could use both their first resort's DDP credirts (if any were left) and the second resort's. You'd have to use both Resort ID cards.

You have to buy the number of nights you are staying. So if you are there 5 days/4 nights, you only get 4 sets of credits per person (4 table service, 4 counter service, 4 snacks). So if you are staying full days on check-in and check-out days, you will have to decide when you want to use your credits, you will not get 5 sets of credits to be able to use every day you are there.

Thanks to everyone for the responses.
