Split Stay at the Swan

We are thinking about staying at the Swan or Dolphin for the first night of our vacation and then going to Bay Lake tower for the next 6 nights. Will they be able to transfer our luggage or do only actual Disney hotels do that? Thanks!

I recall seeing posts that stated luggage transfer was available from Dolphin/Swan to a Disney resort. Never stayed at either myself though, so I can't say for absolute certain.

Yes - we have had our luggage moved to and from the Dolphin and WDW Resorts many times. Just call bell services (or bring them down to the stand) and they will tag and move the bags. Most recently was June Polynesian to Dolphin.

The Swan transferred my bags over to the BC this year, and it was an easy process. There is a cut-off time, however. I can't remember the exact time of last pick up of transferring bags, but I think it's early afternoon. Be sure to check with Bell Services, so that you don't miss that last pick up.

You will have to contact Bell Services at Bay Lake Tower to retrieve or have your bags delivered to your room. They will not automatically deliver transferred bags to your room.

It can take a number of hours for the completion of the transfer.
