Split stay and using left over TS dining credits

I informed a co-worker she can carry over dining credits for 1 day if she didn’t use all of them. She just returned and informed me I was wrong. She had 2 credits left for a TS meal and tried to use them at The Wave. She checked out of POR and moved over to the Poly. The morning of the move she had these credits. The entire day passed with her not checking into the Poly until late afternoon. She had late ADR at the Wave. When she tried to pay with a left over credit they came back to her stating she had nothing left. What went wrong. Was she trying to use them and didn’t work because of moving over to the Poly?

They are done at midnight of the current package last day. When moving to a different package they are gone.

You can’t carry them over, but I don’t think that’s what you described. You can use your credits until midnight after you check out. If that’s what she tried to do, and if she actually should have had credits left, then the system glitches and she should have gone to the front desk to have them fix it.

Many things could have cause the problem. An earlier dinner may have charged extra credits, she may have miscounted, or the computers could have been down, among many other potential issues.

So, it makes no difference if you check in to the 2nd resort? If I check in to resort #2, then go to dinner hoping to use a TS credit from Stay #1 it should be no problem, provided I've checked out of Resort #1 on that day.

I am also wondering if this is how it works. I am paying for my first dining plan but the following day I am doing FD. Will we be able to use the credits from the day before the next day?

All credits are valid until midnight after you check out. Consecutive reservations seems to be a scenario that works fine without intervention. However, if you have the plan on both reservations, you have to use up every single credit, including snacks, from the first plan before you can use any credits from the second.

Thank you

I am thinking so didn’t check how many she had used during her stay at POR. I asked her why she didn’t go to guest

services to see
what /why she didn’t have the 2 left and all she said was it never occurred to her.
