Hi, Is any other DVC member having trouble booking dining res. for the 90 plus 10 because they are doing a split stay?? I tried to book my WHOLE stay dining this morning at my 90 day mark but could only book the first 5 days with my first res. number. We are switiching to the BCV for 3 nites and have 2 more res. numbers and I was NOT ABLE to book these three nites even though we have a continuous stay at WDW. :headache: Thanks, Joan

I'm interested to see if others have had this problem. I get to make my ADRs next week & I am doing a split DVC stay as well. I hope I don't encounter any problems.

Did you call back & try with a different cast member?

A split stay is more than one reservation and each reservation is treated separately when it comes to ADRs. Some Cast Members may make an exception but there are no guarantees.

my 90 mark starts this monday coming up i am doing 5 days AKV CL and the laast 5 @ KV....so would also like to see how this works.:surfweb:

Quick question. Are you calling dining direct or are you calling member services? The last time I tried was 2 years ago and it seemed that when I called member services I had better luck than Disney dining directly.

I have the worse memory known to man, so if some one has a different experience, take their word over mine. ;)

As noted, you will likely not be able to make the entire 8 days at once since they are not technically a single reservation. All you can do is try, no way to force or convince them to do so.

I don't recall ever being asked for my DVC confirmation number in the past.

Do they always ask for that now?

Mandy :)

For the extra 10 days ahead of the usual reservation window they will require you have a reservation. They will ask and only proceed if you have it.

I didn't know that you can book 90 days out with an extra 10 days ahead. I'm so glad that I read your posts - thank you! We have an upcoming split stay in July and I was waiting for exactly the 90th day prior. When did this change occur? I can't believe I missed it :confused3 .....hopefully I didn't miss out on a Castle ADR for my dd's 10th b'day celebration. :scared: I better get to it.....thanks again! :goodvibes

Ok, that makes sense. Our 17 night stay is split over 3 different resort reservations! I need to plan when I want CRT so i can book it on a plus ten.

Thanks Dean :)

I think your window will still start at 90 days from check in, then you can book for up to ten nights of ADRs on that confirmation number. If you change resorts, then you calculate 90 days from the next check in and so on. I think anyway!!!!

I want CRT too! Fingers crossed!

Good luck!

Mandy :)

Hi, This is CORRECT but since we are on property for 10 days (just changing resorts) this problem with booking ADRS IMHO needs to be addressed. I have e-mailed wdw.guestcommunications@disneyworld.com and expressed my displeasure at the treatment of DVC owners for staying/owning at more than one resort . Maybe if others DO NOT LIKE the way this system is set up and e-mail them also we can get it changed for future stays!! :thumbsup2Joan

I just made reservations a couple of weeks ago, and yes, had to call twice because of a split-stay. I called the dining number.

We have a split stay coming up in June between 3 resorts. The first two nights are ASMu, then 3 nts AKV-Kidani and the last 3 nts in a THV. I called MS 90 days from my check in date for the ASMu reservation and was able to make all my reservations at one time. It took her a couple of minutes to find my ASMu ressie but once she did all was well.

I don't know if they've changed the policy or if I just lucked out but she didn't question me at all. This was back in March when everyone was complaining of the seriously long waits on the Dining line, I had no wait for MS.

I think your best bet is to try and make all of them at once and if they don't allow it then call back when your next window opens but you should always try for all of them first I think.

When i made my dining reservations for May, back in February. They let me make 10 days worth of dining reservations. I'm staying at 3 resorts. I have done this many times. I just have to give them all 3 reservation numbers. Maybe something has changed?

HI, I have called back 3x and talked to 3 different cm's, they all say the system cannot accept this because you now have a NEW reservation and that is what the system sees. Well why can't the "system see" that this is a continuous visit by my family not a new one??? Perhaps they could link all my reservations in the system for Dining purposes?? And then it would be treated as ONE stay?? :confused3 Joan

Because it is technically separate reservations. Just call 90 days out from day 1 and don't mention the rest. Generally they will allow you to make 10 days of reservations without worrying about when you check out. If not, you'll simply have to call back 90 days out from when you change resorts.

Are you calling WDW-Dine or Member Services?

We are goin in June. We had a reservation for 4 nights at BCV. later we added 3 more nights at BCV (these show with 2 different reservation numbers on line but I received 1 reservation docuemnet from member services for all) and then we are using DP at SSR for 4 nights. We ended up having to call 3 separate times to make dining reservations. Each booked reservation was a different number and the new dining reservation system would not let the CM book the other nights

I had the same problem when calling 90 days out. We have 2 reservations linked. When calling directly they were not able to book all our ADR's. Once I called MS I was able to book with no problem...
MS told me that I had to go through them, calling directly they were not able to see the reservations linked.
