I thought I uunderstood the basics of a split stay, but now that I'm actually starting to plan my first one...
I'd like to plan a 14-day vacation with 10 days in the parks and DDP for the entire stay.
So, to get the cheapest per-day ticket rate, I'd book the first 7 days at a resort with a 10-day base ticket.
I can get the dining plan for that first week, but what happens when I book the second week at another resort? The website won't let me add a dining plan unless I have a ticket for the second week. Am I missing something, or should I call and have the CM work out how to get it done?
Please help me see what I'm missing (but I'm sure it's obvious)!
