Split stay and dining plan

We are doing our first split stay in January. We rented points for DVC. Friday and Saturday night we will stay at Boardwalk and Sunday, monday and tuesday night stay at poly villas. Here is our dilemma. I know when we arrive friday night we will be given 2 dining credits to be used by 11:59 Sunday night. We will use 1 credit on saturday (none on friday). When we check into the poly sunday night we will be given 3 credits to use by Wednesday night. My "issue" is that our plan was to check out of BWV sunday morning and spend the day/evening at epcot and have a 2 credit meal at le cellier. I wasn't planning on checking into poly until after dinner. Then I realized if I havent checked in, I would not have my dining credits. right? or with magic band would I have them? Am I correct in thinking this is confusing lol? If I have 1 credit left on my last reservation, and 3 credits on my new reservation...how do I use my last remaining and one of my new ones at a 2 credit restaraunt?

You can't combine a dining credit from one stay with a credit from a second stay for a 2-credit meal. That is disallowed. Dining credits are pooled, not allocated per person. If you are a party of 2, your first stay has 4 dining credits total with 2 credits left after your first meal. Your second stay will have 6 credits total.

Here's what you can do: Suggest taking a taxi to Poly with your luggage. Check in and get your dining credits. Dining credits won't be on your MagicBand if you don't check in. Stow your bags with Bell Svcs if your room isn't ready. Walk to TTC or monorail over, and take the Epcot monorail to that park. At dinner, one person could use the 2 remaining credits from your first resort stay, the other person could use 2 credits from the second stay. That would leave 4 credits remaining on your second stay, to be shared by your party.

When you check in to Poly, ask for a printout of credits used/remaining from first resort stay. At dinner, explain to the Server how one guest is using first dining credits and the other person is using second dining credits for your dinner. There's a remote chance this could still get processed incorrectly, but Poly Concierge ppl will straighten it out and make it right.

Only the reservation holder or spouse needs to check in. That person will need to bring ID and a CC for charging privileges (if desired).

We just did pretty much the exact same thing, we rented points and bought the QS dinning plan, then changed resorts after 5 nights and went over to CSR and had the reg DP. They dining points over lapped, it was actually confusing, we hadn't used all of our QS meals and at CSR they pretty much made us use them before we would start our new DP, no biggie we just grabbed some salads and sandwiches and put them in our fridge to eat the next day - but then our fridge went out and we didn't know, we lost all the food . We had 2 sets of mugs cuz we didn't know if the ones from our previous resort would work for our new one.
