Split stay and ADR's

Hi all-
We are going during free dining in Sept. and splitting our stay between POFQ and the Poly. We are getting free dining for our FQ portion and going off-plan for the Poly nights. I have two questions:

1. Can I make my 90+10 reservations from my first day at the POFQ all the way through our stay at the Poly? We are staying 4 nights at each resort. I would hate to have to call again 90 days out from our 1st night at the Poly.

2. My folks will be joining us for a meal or two but I don't know which days yet. Can I make all my reservations for 4 instead of 2, and then change them when I get there? I'm thinking it's easier to go down to two than to go up to 4, if you can follow my logic

All I can say is that we managed to do so (1 and 2). Our window opened up during the ADR system switcheroo and we had to work with the CM to make sure that ADRs were referencing the first room reservation and not a later one. Otherwise the system won't let you make them until the next window opens up.

Part of our group was coming a day later, but we still managed to make ADRs for the group on the first day we were eligible. Being a 'Grand Gathering' may have helped here. It took time for the CM to figure it out and perhaps the 'rules' will be different now that only the new system is being used. Hopefully it will work out for you.

Some folks have reported not being able to do it and I was nervous. But I called on April 19th for my split stay (1 night AKV, 5 nights WLV). I called 90 out from my first arrival and was allowed to make ALL of my ADRs for the entire week. There wasn't even a question regarding this at all. The CM made the first one and said "next" and it went right in with no problem. And I know that they were made because the next day I called to change a couple of them and they were there! Can't really help OP, just be prepared that some of us are having no problem, while others are!
