Split resort stay parking question

If I am staying on a Sunday night at the Contemporary, and then moving to the Art of Animation for the following 2 nights, may I leave my car parked at the Contemporary until the end of the day (MK closing time) on the Monday, even after I've checked-out, or will I have to move it at check-out? I'd hate having to break up a park day to do this, but if I must I will!

You can leave your car after you have checked out. You are still a resort guest until midnight of your checkout day. They would probably allow you to stay there until park close of that is after midnight also.

Normally, you are a resort guest until midnight of check out day. However, when you check out to move to a new WDW resort, I believe your are a guest of the 1st resort only until you check into your 2nd resort. (You can only be checked into 1 resort at a time.)
