Split group on DCL transportation

I have 5 in my cabin. 2 are taking DCL transportation from MCO to the port. 3 are driving. What happens in this situation? Do I still need to checkin at midnight for the earliest PAT, or will I not get a PAT? I’m hoping I don’t need to stay up until midnight.

I assume that’s me and I’m taking the transportation. I booked the reservation originally and I’m the first name in the app but other than that I don’t see any indication of who is the lead.

Tough question. Are you checking in for everyone? With the bus, the PAT is sort of irrelevant- you get there when you get there. The boarding groups might be different but it could just be 30 minutes apart. Do you feel responsible for the driving group? They can maybe be the ones to be up at midnight if it’s important to them. I think you can wait until morning to check in since you are taking DCL transportation. Good question. I’m no help. Sorry.

Haha. I am checking everyone in. My kids are in college in the south and are driving to meet us right after finals end. I want to be able to meet up in the terminal before boarding. Guess I’ll find out soon.

You can just wait in the terminal to board until whoever has the latest boarding group. I’m guessing the car people will need a Pat and you will want them close to yours.
