My husband and I split QS all the time, but is it okay to split stable serve? I ate to waste food-let alone money. Anyone ever split a TS?

Yup, we do it all the time. If you tell your server when ordering, they usually spilt it in the kitchen for you.

we haven't yet, at WDW, but a couple seated next to us did. they split an appetizer, then an entree.
not sure how that works on the DDP, though. I don't see why not. (you'd have to pay OOP for the extra drink)

I've never done it but have seen it done. As long as it is a regular table service restaurant, you can do it.

It is never permitted to share between two or more people for the price of one meal at 1) buffets, 2) all you can eat family style restaurants, 3) fixed-price restaurants (CRT or Akershus); 4) dinner shows. It is also not permitted to share, for the price of one order, the all you can eat skillet entree at Whispering Canyon. Otherwise, it is generally allowed. There were a number of reports (no recent ones) that Beaches and Cream would not allow guests on the dining plan to share entrees, although it was permitted for guests who were not on the dining plan. There were also some not very recent reports that Rainforest Cafe would charge a split plate fee.

We have been spliting TS meals for years at Disney. We always order a double burger and Beaches and Cream and split it with no problem. We do not do the dining plan.

Awesome! Thank you for the info. We didn't think it would be an issue. We're eating at tony's. Thanks!

DH and I regularly each order an appetizer and split an entree. Never a problem. We do not use the dining plan.

Same here, been splitting TS for years with DH or DD. We have never had a problem. We also have never used the dining plan either.

I think the rule about DDP and sharing food, is that if one person has DDP, and the other does not, they are not allowed to share in that instance. But if both have DDP, or neither has DDP, sharing is OK. :)
