My dd (almost 5) and I leave in one week for DL. :cool1: :Pinkbounc
By looking at the DL web site, it looks like on Splash Mt. that we can go together and sit together. My neighbor says when they went a few years ago, each person sat alone, separated by a barrier. My kid is tall enough and will be fine if we can sit together, but not if she can't hang on to me. Can someone clear up my confusion???? :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :rotfl:

The seats are individual. There's a seat back between each person.

They have reengineered the logs at Splash. There are seats with backs down the center, and a larger, two person seat in the back. The only trouble is, when the new logs are fully loaded, they keep getting stuck at certain points on the ride. At last report, Splash was down while they worked on this problem.
Sorry it's not more cheerful news, I rather miss the old configuration of nesting together.

Yeah the new logs have apparently caused some pretty big issues and even with not loading the back, its still caused some issues... so yes if the ride stays open while they try to fix the problems they def wont load the back double seat so everyone sits in their own seat-

We've never been put together in the back seat, always individually. However my daughter sits in front of me, and I wrap my arms around the seat and hold her. She insists, and no one has ever told me I couldn't do that. It's really easy to do and not a problem.

My daughter is 5 years old and just over the height requirement. We could not sit in a seat together. However, like the previous poster mentioned I had her sit in the seat in front of me and I wrapped my arms around her. The person where you entered the ride even suggested it. (He could tell I was debating where to have her sit)

I would caution you to be careful of your chin. I bumped mine a few times during the ride, though I felt much better having a hold of my munchkin.

Also, if it helps at all, my daughter was a little afraid before we went on the ride, but after 5 days at Disneyland that was her favorite ride, hands down.

Have a GREAT time.

Carly
