I just read on another thread that Splash is going to be closed for a rehab starting in January.

Anyone know if this is true???

If so, I'm rescheduling my trip. Test Track, Buzz Lightyear and Splash down at the same time????

relax....your 1sy post was 16 minuets before your anyone post.

i would think that someone who has 494 post on this board would know enough to
A - check the rehab schedule
B - check back around 5:00pm after people get a chance to respond.

A.I checked the rehab schedule. It's not on there.
B.It's called a "bump" and many people on message boards do it when the topic starts falling down a bit. Nothing uncommon.

Not very friendly or helpful were you! Instead of being condescending, if you knew the answer to her question you should of just answered her, if not you shouldn't of replied!

Big bummer for me is Buzz Lightyear will be closed in Jan. when I'm there.

Thanks - That's what I had read as well. From the sound of the poster on the other thread, it would be closed in January as well.

Seemed hard to believe though. Can't imagine Disney closing arguably, the most popular attractions in 2 different parks.

This is the first I've heard about Buzz Lightyear. When do they typically announce a rehab? I've known about testtrack for a while and I thought we might be close enough to January to be safe from any additional headliner rehabs. I'm starting to feel like this is a trip to WallyWorld.

I was told by someone that Splash Mountain was going to be down from 1/23-1/27

4 days? OK, that's no big deal. I don't get there until the 29th, so it wouldn't effect me.

That would stink for other visitors only there for those days though.

sucks for me. My park days are 1/22-1/27. We didn't want to do MK on our first day there, so unless we change our plans, we're out of luck

I also heard Splash will be down on 1/23-27. The Country Bears (if anyone cares) will be down 1/3-7 to take down the holiday decorations.

Sorry, but a 16 min "bump" is a waste. A bump would maybe be ok if it were on page 2 or 3.

Especially when the asked for info could have been found in 5 mins if the poster bother to look for it.

So as opposed to just ignoring the thread, you post rudely to it.

Hey - To each their own.

If it were me, and I didn't have anything useful or helpful to say, I'd say nothing.

You have alot of nerve! I have bumped threads in that amount of time or so before because I didn't want it to go to low and was excited to get an answer. Someone is asking a question and instead of answering you post mindless nonsense, He could have bumped his thread evey two mins if he wanted to! How is it your business? And that by the way is a rehtorical question, don't answer it... oh yeah you wouldn't anyway.

Me too - I am there the 1/21 through 1/27 - I didn't plan to hit MK until the 23rd. Need to rethink this now. Sigh. Just when I think my park plans are figured out :p

I'm new to the board and don't want to step on any toes, but you have to admit there are a lot of posts and topics drop down the page fast here, I always have the urge to bump, but I get scared that I'll get scolded... much like that.

I'm pretty new to the board too. This is the first time I have encountered a poster to be so hateful. I thought we were here to help each other not be rude to each other. Sad...very sad! :confused3

Back to the thread... The disney website does not mention that splash mountain will be closed the 17 and the 18? Man this is going to throw my plans for a loop. Looks like the 16th it is! I guess I can go during evening EMH. Does anyone know if splash mountain has a single rider line? the one at DL does

I think somebody needs a nap today- just ignore it! Most posters are very helpful here!
