Splash and Thunder during daytime parade?

I'm planning on arriving at MK at about 1:00 in the afternoon and was hoping to ride Splash and Thunder while the parade is going on. Does that area clear out or will it still be crowded?

Not sure about Thunder, but even during the parades, I had to fastpass Splash due to a 2-hour standby wait. And that was in the off season when there was never a longer wait than 15-20 minutes for other rides.

Both parades are popular. I don't think the daytime parade is quite as popular as the nighttime parade. However, I think the lines for Splash/ Big Thunder aren't affected much during the daytime parade because the parade begins in Frontierland. Once the parade goes by in 15 minutes or so, many people in the immediate area bolt for one of the E-tickets.

I have noticed that crowds are more lessened in Tomorrowland and Adventureland during the parades... probably because they aren't on the parade route.
