Has anyone done both? Which is better? I love this sort of thing, but we are on DDP and they both use 2 TS credits, so we can really only do one. I prefer the sound of the food at Spirit of Aloha, as it will be nice to try something a bit different, but we have been to Buffulo Bill's Wild West Show at DLRP and liked the old American theming there... I can't decide! :confused3

The other question is that on the WDW website, it mentions that alcoholic drinks are included at Spirit of Aloha, but doesn't say how many, whereas it says they're unlimited at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, does anyone know if Spirit of Aloha is unlimited too?

Thank you! :flower3:

Done Hoop 3 times and have it booked again for this August. Some don't like it but we have enjoyed every visit. It was an highlight of the trip last August.

See post #377 & #378 for pics http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2524489&highlight=hoop+dee+doo&page=26

Also a clip on my Sons Youtube of Nigel(DISwolves) almost falling off the bus on the way back to OKW, this was the 2nd time he did it.

As for Spirit we booked it but went to look at the venue while we were at the Poly, decided we would cancel, it looked as if it would be too hot in August, part inside part outside, also DW has a bird Phobia, she is only happy eating in an inside venue, any chance of a bird in the area she would not enjoy the evening or even worse have to leave, Hoop is indoors and airconned. Unlimited drinks at either.

We have been to both and really enjoyed them. The food was good at both, chicken, ribs and mash at Hoop de doo and chicken, rice, veg at Aloha.

I think the hoop de doo is soo funny and adults and kids alike loved it. Spirit of aloha is lovely and but does lack some of the fun aspect. My dd loved the spirit of aloha but my 2 boys weren't quite so keen.

It was unlimited drinks at both shows.

Hoop dee doo for me. We had awful seats for Aloha and I don't like the layout but hoop dee doo was great. Really uplifting and fun. Aloha was enjoyable to watch, but I just feel that hoop dee doo was better.

We have seen both shows twice now.

Our family consist of Dh & I, DS9, DS8, DS5 and DD4.

Last visit DD loved the Spirit of Aloha, the boys not so much, they loved the fire eaters but thats about it, they didnt think much to the food either I recall, although DH & I loved it.

HDDR we all loved, food was great, entertainment suitable to all and atmosphere fantastic. I would say to opt for the Hoop if your considering one or the other.
