Spirit of Aloha Luau

We will be in WDW in March. My son and daughter-in-law have expressed interest going to the Spirit of Aloha dinner show with with our two grandsons (7 and 5 years). Here is my question: we will be activating our new Annual Passes and then purchasing TIW when we arrive in March. Would it be possible to make reservations for the Spirit of Aloha before we get the TIW? Do they require payment in advance and if they do would that preclude us from getting the TIW discount since we won't have the card until we get there in March? Thanks in advance for any advice!

You will need to pay the full price up front and then get the tables in wonderland discount when you attend the show. Keep in mind you can only use the discount for the late show.

Thanks, senadler, yes I was aware that TIW could only be applied to the late show. I forgot to mention that in my post. Do you know how they reimburse you for the discount? Do they give you a credit on the credit card that you used to originally purchase the reservations?

I've done this same strategy with CRT- yes, you will prepay and then let them know once you arrive that you would like to apply a TIW discount. It will go back on the card you booked with.

I would recommend that you definitely arrive early for the show, so that you can take care of it before you go in. I was in the same situation a couple of years ago with HDDR. Based on advice I read on the boards, I asked my server about getting the TIW discount reimbursement after we were seated. They needed a manager to do the credit & there wasn't one on site at that point. They eventually tracked someone down & took care of it, but I felt bad that I stressed our server out. From what I gathered it's much easier to have the adjustment made at the ticket booth/will call pickup.
